Highlights from the First Night of “Snack Bait”: A Special Event to Welcome Final Exam Reading Season, Semester 2/2025

On February 26, 2026, the Center for Library and Educational Media, Walailak University, organized the “Reading Promotion and Knowledge Review for Final Examination Preparation, Semester 2/2025”, popularly known among Walailak University students as “Snack Bait: Read, Relax, and Refuel.”

The event was held at the Temporary Library, Architecture and Design (AD) Building, and was officially opened by Dr. Anusorn Chaiaksornwet, a lecturer from the School of Political Science and Public Administration, who also joined the event to encourage students preparing for their final examinations.

The activity was part of the Center’s Academic Service Project, which contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting inclusive learning opportunities and supporting students’ educational well-being.

163 Students Joined the First Night

A total of 163 students registered for the first night of the activity. To help students stay energized while studying, a variety of food and beverages were provided free of charge.

Menu Highlights:

  • KFC Spicy Chicken Wings
  • Mantou & Assorted-Filling Steamed Buns from Pao Pao Khun Ya
  • Soy Milk
  • Iced Pakistani Tea from Puean Rian
  • Hot & Cold Beverages: Tea, coffee, Milo, and Ovaltine
  • Various snacks and light refreshments

The rules were simple: Everything was free! The activity was available to students using the library and Sabai Co-Working Space for their exam preparation.
