Circulation Service

          The Center for Library Resources and Educational Media is the collection of information resources for contributing to class management and research of the university, and there are information resources to support knowledge, skill, learning and working competency, and lifestyle. Resources are classified as follows:
1. Printed Materials are the information recorded on paper and printed into the book, such as academic books, general books, short stories, novels, annual reports, research, theses, journals, magazines, and newspapers.
2. Electronic Resources are mixed media that include more than one resource, for example, a text document, sound, picture, or video, to support content understanding quickly, to have long-term remembering, and to achieve dimensional learning.

  • e-Database is the information produced and stored in an electronic system or computer program and technology which manages data systematically read by a computer or electronic equipment.
  • e-Book is the book produced, stored, and established in digital databases which are read using a computer or other portable electronic equipment.
  • e-Journal is the journals produced, stored, and established as e-Books in digital databases. Can be read with a computer or other portable electronic equipment.
  • Electronic Material is information recorded electronically. The tool or equipment transfers the electronic signal to content letters, texts, pictures, sounds, etc.; for example, CD ROM or DVD.

The Process of Service Utilization

Lending Service

  1. Make a self-check via an automatic machine at the information service counter on the 2nd floor.
  2. Use student/ staff card or barcode from WU App for identification.
  3. Make 2 of 2 renewals remaining (in case of no booking).
  4. Dependently search and pick information resources from the selves, or get the guidance from officers. After finishing, return them to the bookshelf.
  5. Borrowed information resources must be returned in the required time.
  6. Check the information resources every time before borrowing. If it damages or loses, you must be entirely responsible.

Returning Service

  1. Return books in person or by another person.
    • Make a self-check return at the information service counter.
    • Return with Bookdrop (24 hours).
    • Return with the officer at the counter on the 2nd floor.
    • Return with Book Delivery Service.
  2. Check information resources every time before returning.
  3. If returning information resources after the dateline, you will be charged 5 baht per day.
  4. If the information resources are damaged or lost, you must pay the fines required by the university.

Lending Right

Bachelor’s degree student

  • General books and academic books can be borrowed up to a maximum of 10 books for 10 days.
  • Theses and novels/short stories can be borrowed up to a maximum of 10 books for 7 days.
  • Unbound back issues can be borrowed up to a maximum of 5 items for 7 days.
  • CD/VCD/DVD can be borrowed up to a maximum of 2 pieces for 3 days.

Graduate Students (Master degree and Doctoral Degree), Staff

  • General books and academic books can be borrowed up to a maximum of 15 books for 30 days.
  • Theses and novels/short stories can be borrowed up to a maximum of 15 items for 7 days.
  • Unbound back issues can be borrowed up to a maximum of 5 items for 7 days.
  • CD/VCD/DVD can be borrowed up to a maximum of 2 pieces for 3 days.

Professor/ Director

  • General books and academic books can be borrowed up to a maximum of15 books for 30 days.
  • Theses and novels/short stories can be borrowed up to a maximum of 30 items for 7 days.
  • Unbound back issues can be borrowed up to a maximum of 5 items for 7 days.
  • CD/VCD/DVD can be borrowed up to a maximum of 2 pieces for 3 days.

Associate members (Retired Staff, Alumni)

  • General books, theses, and novels/short stories can be borrowed up to a maximum of 7 books for 7 days.
  • The unbound back issues can be borrowed up to a maximum of 2 items for 7 days.
  • CD/VCD/DVD: Not allowed to borrow

Associate members (Outsider)

  • General books, theses, and novels/short stories can be borrowed up to a maximum of 5 books for 7 days.
  • Unbound back issues can be borrowed up to a maximum of 2 items for 7 days.
  • CD/VCD/DVD: Not allowed to borrow

Date and Time

During trimester

  • Monday-Friday 08:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
  • Saturday-Sunday 10:00 a.m.-5.30 p.m.
  • Closed during holidays and special days off required by the announcement of the university.

Break trimester

  • Monday – Friday 08:30 a.m. -04:30 p.m.
  • Closed during holidays and special days off.
