        On May 2, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, at Ban Krabi Noi Municipality School 1, Krabi Province, The Center for Library Resources and Educational Media, Walailak University, together with the Provincial Electricity Authority and Ban Krabi Noi Municipality School 1 held a meeting to propel the PEA project, Cho Sa-Ard Village and surveyed the area to organize the Green Library Activity for Ban Krabi Noi Municipality School 1, Krabi Province.

        The project is implemented under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with the Anti-Corruption Foundation to elevate the morality and transparency of the PEA under the “PEA Project Cho Sa-Ard Village” for 3 years (2022-2024). In 2023, it is operated in 4 areas and 16 nearby schools, namely Region 1, Northern Region, Ban Muang Mai School, Nan Province, Northeastern Region, Ban Lam Choeng Krai School, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Central Region Wat Maheyong School, Suphan Buri Province, Southern Region, Ban Krabi Noi Municipality School 1, Krabi Province. The Center for Library Resources and Educational Media, WU, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province has applied to be part of the project and assigned to set up a borrowing and return system for the library. SENAYAN Automatic Library Management System has been brought in to manage and help arrange bookshelves into categories and improve the decoration of the library.

        As for the concept of operation, “PEA Chor-Sa-Ard Village Project” is intended to solve the problem of corruption in Thai society. According to the moral system of the community, it is to build a strong community free from a patronage system and run with honest community system with an emphasis on participation from the local youths and communities. In addition, it is also to realize and acknowledge the importance of the environment in various aspects

        such as Global Warming through various activities such as the Little Economist activity Green Library activities, Volunteer Networking activities, 1 Tambon 1 Electrician project, PEA Electricity for Safe Community project, and other activities to discuss the needs of schools and villages. A site visit to organize the activity will be around June – July 2023 and the work is to be passed on after the activity is completed in August 2023.
