          Asst Prof. Dr. Siwanath Nuntapichai, Director of the Center for Library and Educational Media along with 9 personnel of the center namely Mr. Chatchawan Nakphan, Mr. Mesa Sintobthong, Mr. Kiattisak Bairamem, Mrs. Amaraporn Choma, Ms. Thantapat Duangchan, Mrs. Kittiporn Sripetch, Mrs. Santhat Sarak, Miss Jariya Rattanaphan and Mr. Somsak Prathumthong joined the 42nd workshop on the Activities Conducted within the Information Networks for Educational development (42nd WUNCA) on February 8-10, 2023 at Thaksin University, Songkhla Province. The event is organized under the theme “Life-Long Learning; Sustainable Educational Innovations” with Prof. Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education Science Research and Innovation, presiding over the opening ceremony, together with Mr. Ekachai Lertwibunlak, Deputy Governor of Songkhla Province, Associate Professor Dr. Nataphong Chitnirat, President of Thaksin University and lecturers, experts and people related to the development of information technology for educational development and research participating. Ms. Sarah Jane Yee gave a special lecture on Educational Innovation Become Sustainable to approximately 700 attendees joining the workshop.

        The purpose of the conference was to provide a platform for the member institutions on the Inter University Network (UniNet) to exchange information, and share experience and manage the network that must be used together effectively

        In addition, the event also featured other interesting activities such as meetings with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) or representatives, booths showcasing technology advancements of the national and international leading technology companies, presentations of academic progress, a special lecture on Sustainable Innovation Development in Education and workshops on more than 15 topics.

        The Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation has established and been operating the UniNet to manage and connect high-speed networks among the universities / research units and various educational institutions in Thailand. This is to increase educational opportunities within the region and community with an emphasis on the use and sharing of educational resources, including learning, teaching, and research, especially in information technology that is constantly changing. Therefore, it is necessary to forge the cooperative education and research networks which helps generate new knowledge, which is what WUNCA values. Finally, the 43rd WUNCA was handed over to Khon Kaen University. The overall event represents unity of the modern universities in the year 2023, which will benefit students GENERATION “Change People, Change Teaching Methods, and Change the World”
