On Wednesday, November 26, 2025 the Learning Promotion and Educational Services Division, in collaboration with the School of Accountancy and Finance, Walailak University, successfully held a special lecture on “Getting Financially Ready Before Entering the Workforce” at Lecture Room AD1214, Architecture and Design Building. The event aimed to build essential financial knowledge and skills for students before they step into the real working world.

The event was honored by Dr. Thanaiwong Keeratiwanich, an experienced expert from the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), who served as the guest speaker, sharing knowledge and special tips on comprehensive personal financial planning — a key factor that helps new graduates start their careers on a stable and sustainable footing.

The lecture content was intensive and covered essential topics that working-age individuals should not overlook, including effective principles and strategies for saving, choosing investment channels and methods suited to one’s acceptable risk level, and smart techniques for debt management, so that debt burdens do not become an obstacle to building one’s future. Dr. Thanaiwong emphasized the importance of starting financial planning as early as possible and maintaining consistent financial discipline.

The atmosphere of the lecture was lively, with students showing great interest and filling the lecture room to capacity — reflecting Walailak University students’ awareness of the need to prepare economically and financially before graduation.

The Learning Promotion Division and the School of Accountancy and Finance extend their sincere thanks to all 78 students who participated in this event. It is hoped that every student will be able to apply the knowledge and tips gained to build a strong financial foundation and achieve their long-term financial goals.
