The Center for Library and Educational Media, Walailak University, proudly won two awards at the 16th PULINET National Conference (PULINET 2025), held under the theme “Innovative Learning: Library for All.” The conference was organized by the Provincial University Library Network (PULINET) in collaboration with the University of Phayao on January 28–29, 2026.

This year’s PULINET National Conference focused on advancing library innovation and information management in the digital era, bringing together librarians and support staff from universities across Thailand to exchange knowledge, experiences, and innovative practices.

The Center for Library and Educational Media participated in the conference with four presentations, two of which received recognition from the judging committee and conference participants. The two awards were as follows:

1. Outstanding Award – Information Management Category

Ms. Aporn Chaisuwan received the Outstanding Award in the Information Management category for her presentation entitled:

“Developing a Learning Resource Support Mechanism for Program-Level Quality Assurance through the Application of an Automated Library System and Artificial Intelligence.”

2. Honorable Mention – Showcase Category

Mr. Nurun Jampaklai received an Honorable Mention in the Showcase category for his presentation entitled:

“Walailak University Virtual Tour: Applications and Experiences.”

These achievements are not only a source of pride for the award recipients but also reflect the Center for Library and Educational Media’s commitment to encouraging its personnel to develop research and innovation from their routine work through the “Routine to Research” approach. This initiative aims to continuously enhance the quality and standards of information services and advance them toward international standards.
