On December 25, 2025, the Learning Promotion and Educational Services Division, Center for Library and Educational Media, in collaboration with the School of Liberal Arts, Walailak University, organized a special Christmas event that transformed the temporary library into a joyful and inspiring space for learning and celebration.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Wijitra Phetcharakit, Assistant Vice President for Educational Achievement Monitoring and Learning Resources, and Assistant Professor Dr. Siwanat Nantapichai, Director of the Center for Library and Educational Media. The event was warmly attended by university administrators, faculty members, staff, and students.

The event was filled with both knowledge and fun through three creative activity stations:

  • Christmas Card: Sharing warm feelings and festive wishes through handmade card designs.
  • D.I.Y. Christmas Key: Enjoying a creative hands-on activity by making adorable Christmas-themed keychains.
  • Christmas Spelling Fun: Challenging participants’ English language and vocabulary skills through festive-themed spelling activities.

Beyond creating a fun and engaging learning atmosphere, the event aimed to encourage students to recognize the importance of reading and utilizing library services, while also developing their creativity, communication, and teamwork skills.

The event also attracted students from various educational institutions, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere throughout the activities. Dr. Kanitsorn Suriya-paiboonwattana, Deputy Director of the Center for Library and Educational Media, also participated as one of the judges, helping evaluate participants’ potential and strategic decision-making skills.

The Center for Library and Educational Media would like to extend its sincere appreciation to the faculty members of the School of Liberal Arts, led by Dr. Kamonthip Klaibanmai and Mr. Phattanat Sak Muangchan, as well as all participants whose enthusiasm and participation filled this “land of learning” with smiles, joy, and memorable experiences.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to more inspiring and engaging activities in the future!
