The Center for Library Resources and Educational medias Hosts “Melody of Wisdom: Music of Knowledge” – Adding Color to Learning through Music
The Center for Library Resources and Educational medias of Walailak University organized the event “Melody of Wisdom: Music of Knowledge” at the Temporary Library, School of Architecture Building, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The event aimed to provide faculty, staff, and students with a unique learning experience by blending an academic atmosphere with the aesthetics of music.
This special activity reflects the Center’s commitment to creating a new dimension for the library experience. In collaboration with WU Music Club, the event featured an orchestral performance. The beautiful music created a relaxing atmosphere and inspired participants—particularly students who were preparing for their exams, helping them maintain focus and cope with academic pressure. In addition to the delightful music, The Center for Library Resources and Educational medias also provided a buffet of beverages and snacks, allowing students and library users to relax during their study time. This initiative further transformed the library into a warm, welcoming, and friendly learning space—not only a place for research, but also a venue that offers positive feelings and memorable experiences.
The performance not only reduced stress but also provided an opportunity for talented musicians to express themselves creatively. It was also an excellent occasion to promote the library’s extended hours—open until midnight during the final examination period—so that students could fully utilize their time for studying and reviewing.
The “Melody of Wisdom” activity was a great success, with participants expressing their satisfaction and feeling that the library had become more vibrant and lively. This outcome aligns with the Center’s mission to continuously create an engaging learning environment, boosting morale within the university community.
