The Center for Library Resources and Educational Media organized a workshop to develop learning innovations: Designing board games to promote AI ethics.
On July 21, 2025, the Center for Library Resources and Educational Media held a hands-on workshop aimed at developing learning innovations through the design of board games that promote AI ethics. The workshop was held at Meeting Room 4, 2nd Floor, Technology and Innovation Operations Building, Walailak University, and was attended by staff members from the center. Expert speakers in educational media and innovation were invited, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Sasipimon Praphinpongsakorn from Srinakharinwirot University and Ms. Rattama Rattanawongsa from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.
The objective of the workshop was to enable participants to utilize AI in the development of learning media innovations by applying board games, with at least two prototype games to be created for use with students. An example includes a board game designed to help students learn about library services. Participants are expected to complete the workshop with tangible learning innovations that can be presented at national academic forums in 2026. The program also aimed to promote AI literacy among the center’s staff.
The workshop received great interest and participation from various departments, with a total of 28 staff members attending.
