The Center for Library Resources and Educational Media Hosts Exhibition to Welcome University Presidents Nationwide during the 3rd General Meeting of the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT), 2025
The Teaching and Learning Support and Educational Media Division of The Center for Library Resources and Educational Media was assigned the responsibility of organizing an exhibition to welcome university presidents from across the country during the 3rd General Meeting of the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT) and the CUPT Association, held on Saturday, June 22, 2025, at Hua Taparn Conference Room, 3rd Floor, Chulabhorn Walailak Medical Center Hospital, Walailak University.
The event began with a welcome speech by Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, who greeted Professor Dr. Wilert Phuriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University and Chair of the CUPT, who presided over the meeting. The objective of the meeting was to report on CUPT’s progress and to strengthen the relationships among member institutions. Over 80 participants from 34 universities nationwide attended the meeting.
A special lecture titled “Higher Education Skills Development Fund” was delivered by Professor Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI).
In addition to organizing the exhibition and setting up the photo backdrop outside the meeting room, the Center for Library Resources and Educational Media was also responsible for managing audiovisual media support and still photography throughout the event. These tasks were carried out as special assignments beyond the center’s regular responsibilities, in support of Walailak University’s institutional mission.
