From May 13 to June 4, 2025, the temporary library of the Center for Library Resources and Educational Media, located at the School of Architecture and Design building, is providing English learning materials to support the Pre-English program for first-year students and those interested. This program is organized by the School of Multilingual Studies and General Education, recognizing the importance of supporting English foundational skills for incoming first-year students. The Center has arranged learning spaces, including the PE1131 collection and the GenEd Corner, and also offers a delivery service for physical books. Users can search for book titles through the Center’s online resource database at https://library.wu.ac.th/, the official website of the Center. By selecting “WU Resources” and searching with the code PE1131 in the OPAC system (Online Public Access Catalog), users will find 60 relevant book titles. First-year students can borrow these materials in person at the temporary library circulation counter, as they have not yet received login credentials. Other users with login access can use the RD (Resources Delivery) service by clicking on the truck icon.

The Center provides borrowing services for English books, including materials for reading, listening, speaking, and writing practice, as well as test preparation guides for exams such as TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, and CUTEP. It also introduces online learning platforms like Coursera, edX, and Udemy. Librarians are available to offer guidance and help users find suitable materials based on their language proficiency, supporting the use of technology and digital media to develop language skills.

The Center for Library Resources and Educational Media is proud to be a learning resource hub for first-year students who wish to build a strong foundation in English, empowering them to begin their university journey at Walailak University with confidence.
