You are cordially invited to pour water over the Buddha image in celebration of the Songkran Festival.
The Center for Library Resources and Educational Media, Walailak University, warmly invites faculty members, staff, and students to join the traditional water-pouring ceremony for the Buddha image, held in celebration of Songkran Festival 2025.
To honor and preserve Thai cultural traditions, the Center has beautifully transformed the area at the Central Hall, 2nd Floor, Professor Dr. Wijit Srisa-arn Building into a vibrant Thai-style Songkran setting. The space features traditional decorations and a water-pouring station where participants can respectfully pour water over the Buddha image to ask for blessings and good fortune for the Thai New Year. This event aims to promote Thai cultural heritage within the university community and foster a warm and joyful atmosphere during the Songkran Festival.
