Constitution Day Poster Contest Activity
กิจกรรมประกวดโปสเตอร์วันรัฐธรรมนูญ

On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, the Center for Library Resources and Educational Media, in collaboration with the School of Law, Walailak University, and the WU Law Legal Centre, organized an event under the theme “The Constitution: The Supreme Law of the Kingdom of Thailand That Every Thai Must Know and Follow.” The event took place at the temporary library in the Architecture and Design Operations Building. The activities included a poster contest on the topic of the Thai Constitution, an exhibition of legal books related to Thai law, and presentations by students to commemorate Constitution Day on December 10.

The event was attended by 57 participants. The Constitution Day Project for the academic year 2024 successfully achieved its objectives. It raised awareness among students from the School of Law about the significance of Constitution Day, highlighting the Constitution as the supreme law of the country and a fundamental guide in their studies. Students were encouraged to seek legal and factual information to support their poster designs, fostering open-minded perspectives for coexistence in today’s society. Participants gained a deeper understanding of the Constitution and applied 21st-century skills, including learning skills, life skills, analytical thinking, and creativity, to produce meaningful work.

The winner of the poster contest received unanimous votes for a creative piece that showcased artistic and design potential while effectively communicating the value and significance of the Constitution in an engaging manner. The students who won the first prize are:

1. Ms. Pimapsorn Songwilas
2. Mr. Thakkura Chariyasopak
3. Mr. Natthapong Srisawat

The Popular Vote award was also given to Mr. Natthapong Srisawat.

In the past, The Center for Library Resources and Educational Media has emphasized and collaborated in organizing activities that support teaching and learning across courses, clubs, and schools every semester. These activities include research skill training, workshops to develop skills, special lectures featuring experts from various fields to inspire and share experiences, as well as providing creative spaces (Makerspace) and collaborative spaces to support group work and cooperative learning. These initiatives help foster positive attitudes toward reading, enhance learning skills, and inspire long-term self-development among students. Faculty members and students interested in organizing activities can contact the Learning Promotion and Educational Services Division for more details via telephone at 0-7567-3344 or submit a request to use the library space for learning promotion
