The Center for Library Resource and Educational medias Offers Board Games at the Temporary Library
In addition to providing information resources such as books, textbooks, and electronic media, the Walailak University Library Resource Center also offers board games for relaxation, creativity, and social interaction among students. This collection includes a variety of board games, from strategy games to casual games and party games, which students can borrow and play in designated areas within the library. This service promotes an interactive learning environment and helps alleviate stress through fun, collaborative activities, and is currently becoming increasingly popular.
Objectives
- To promote social interaction and connection between students through cooperative and competitive games.
- To help relieve stress and offer creative and fun relaxation methods for students during waiting times before classes.
- To enhance learning skills and strategy development.
- To present games that promote analytical thinking, strategy, teamwork, and the use of free time in a beneficial way.
Service Details
- Board games are available for exploration at the display cabinet at the temporary library, located in the main hall of the Architecture and Design Building. Designated seating is available for playing board games within the library.
- The game collection includes popular games such as Akropolis, Tikal, I’m the Boss 2nd Edition, SHARK – Stock Market Killer, Dixit Odyssey, TOP THAT!, The Original Rummikub With a Twist, Usagyuuun Crossing, 7 Wonders Duel, and many more. These games are suitable for various skill levels and group sizes.
Borrowing Policy
- Library Use: Board games can be borrowed using a university student ID card and played within the library area. Please contact the One Stop Service counter for assistance.
- Borrowing Rules: Ensure that all parts are complete upon checkout. The game must be returned in its original condition and on the same day it was borrowed.
