The welcome event for the start of the second semester of 2024 and the opening of the temporary library services at the Information and Educational Media Center.
The Center for Library resources and educational medias warmly welcomes all students back for the new semester, a time for new beginnings and personal development. To support the learning of every student, the library organized a welcome event for the start of the second semester of 2024 and the opening of the temporary library services. Special souvenirs were prepared for the first 50 students who visited the temporary library on the first day of the semester, Monday, November 4, 2024.
The temporary library is now open for service in the west wing of the Architecture and Design Building. The space has been arranged to provide a suitable environment for research and study. Although temporary, it is fully equipped with various resources, including books, textbooks, reference materials, computers, and online databases, to support students’ learning needs.
As a special token of appreciation, the library has prepared souvenirs for the first 50 students who visit the temporary library. These gifts are meant to offer encouragement and support for the new semester, as well as to promote and be a part of creating a learning community together. Although the number of souvenirs is limited, other students who missed out can follow the upcoming events and activities through the Library’s social media channels, such as the Walailak University Library page.
The Center for Library resources and educational medias hopes that this library will serve as a great starting point for students’ studies and research in this new semester. We warmly welcome everyone to this new term of learning. Get ready and join us at the temporary library in the west wing of the Architecture and Design Building
