The Center for Library Resources and Educational media, Walailak University, welcomes delegates from Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University

      On December 7, 2022, The Center for Library Resources and Educational media together with the Division of Corporate Communications Walailak University welcomed the team of 18 administrators and personnel representing the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University to Walailak University for an academic visit and exchange of knowledge regarding organizational management system development and preparation for an upcoming Green Library Assessment in the fiscal year 2023. On this occasion, Assistant Professor Siwanath Nuntapichai, Director of the Library Center gave a warm welcome to the visiting team at Khao Luang Conference Room, Cooperative Education Building, Walailak University.

      The representative team of Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, led by Assistant Professor, Sompon Sukcharoenpong, Director of the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology, together with staff from the Office of Academic Resources was interested in asking questions on various issues related to the evaluation criteria across all 8 categories for Green Library evaluation, which requires preparation of document and photographs to be evaluated by the committee. The issues include operation methods as specified by the conditions of each category, collection of historical comparative statistics or public relations campaigns to reach out to library users making them change their behaviors and pay more attention to energy saving and environmental conservation. Such matter entails Whether systematic waste sorting before a disposal, using electricity wisely i.e., lighting and air conditioning to reduce greenhouse gases in the office, etc. Staff of both institutions have learned new techniques and methods and the year 2022 marks the milestone as the first year in which Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University becomes a member of the Green Library Network.
