Division of Education Support and Services, The Center for Library Resources and Education Media, organized “Loy Krathong activity – Inheriting the beautiful Thai culture and traditions for the year 2023” between 23 – 28 November 2023 at the Central Hall, 1st floor of the Library Resources and Education Media Building. The activity was organized to promote Thai traditions and cultural performance, and to create the atmosphere of joy and unity for Loy Krathong Day 2023, which took place on Monday, November 27, 2023. In this activity, a Krathong making workshop was held to impress library users by offering users, both students and staff, the opportunity to create their own Krathongs and float them in a decorated simulated Loy Krathong Pond in front of the Library Resources and Education Media Building. And there was a D I Y corner for service users to create Krathongs using the paper provided, write down your prayers and send them in a Krathong you made yourself.
