Walailak to Society: School of Nursing, Walailak University, giving birth to New Gen of Nurses “with Nursing and Business Know-Hows”

         “Walailak to Society” program features Assoc. Prof. Dr. Urai Jareprapan, Dean of the School of Nursing, Walailak University in the latest episode “Looking Back and Moving Forward, Success of School of Nursing”.

        Assoc. Prof. Dr. Urai talked about success of School of Nursing evidenced by the quality of nurses passing the professional nursing licensure for 100% almost every year. This achievement is due to the organization of a standardized teaching and learning process and attentively taking care of students as well as the number of interested applicants reaching 2,499.

        Moving forward, data obtained from talking with students revealed that most students wanted to be entrepreneurs. This is in line with the policy of the Ministry of Public Health decentralizing access to services to more people.

        “For the next step of the Bachelor’s degree program, The School of Nursing, in addition to maintaining the standard of producing quality nurses “Smart Nurse” going out to serve society, we will increase the skills of students to become entrepreneurs in the health field as well.”
