{"id":31716,"date":"2026-06-10T16:58:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-10T09:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/library.wu.ac.th\/?p=31716"},"modified":"2026-08-31T09:42:25","modified_gmt":"2026-08-31T02:42:25","slug":"welcoming-the-pradu-flower-class-of-29-how-to-live-wu-learning-journey-to-the-center-for-library-and-educational-media","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/library.wu.ac.th\/?p=31716","title":{"rendered":"Welcoming the \u201cPradu Flower Class of 29\u201d: \u201cHow to Live @ WU \u2013 Learning Journey to the Center for Library and Educational Media\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Center for Library and Educational Media, Walailak University<\/strong>, welcomed the university\u2019s new students, the <strong>\u201cPradu Flower Class of 29,\u201d<\/strong> through the <strong>\u201cHow to Live @ WU: Learning Journey to the Center for Library and Educational Media\u201d<\/strong> activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program was designed to introduce new students to the university\u2019s <strong>library services, learning resources, facilities, and information technologies<\/strong>, while helping them become familiar with the systems and services essential for learning and academic life at the university level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The activity was organized in multiple sessions, with approximately <strong>600 students per session<\/strong>, comprising <strong>three morning sessions and three afternoon sessions<\/strong>, beginning at <strong>8:30 a.m.<\/strong> New students participated in a series of interactive learning stations organized by the Center for Library and Educational Media, accompanied by group mentors who provided guidance and support throughout the activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3 Highlight Learning Stations for New Students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each student received a group worksheet and rotated through the various learning stations, completing tasks designed to help them discover the library\u2019s services and gain practical experience using its resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Game Zone: Exploring the World of Board Games<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This station offered students an opportunity to experience learning beyond the classroom through the library\u2019s recreational area and board game collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students were invited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Explore the total number of board games available at the library.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learn the correct procedures for borrowing and returning board games.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>five board games<\/strong> that interested their group and record the relevant information on their worksheet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CLM: Let\u2019s Be Friends<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This station introduced students to the Center for Library and Educational Media\u2019s <strong>online communication channels and digital services<\/strong>, while connecting them with the library community through the <strong>LINE Official Account: Walailak Library<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students were asked to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Find the official website of the Center for Library and Educational Media.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the <strong>Walailak Library LINE Official Account<\/strong> as a friend.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send a brief introductory message including their <strong>student ID, full name, and school\/academic program<\/strong> to verify their membership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Show evidence of completing the activity to their group mentor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Walai AutoLib Mobile Application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students learned how to access smart library services through their smartphones using the <strong>Walai AutoLib Mobile<\/strong> application, allowing them to conveniently access library services anytime and anywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Key tasks included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Downloading and installing the <strong>Walai AutoLib Mobile<\/strong> application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Logging in and practicing borrowing a book through the application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learning more about the application through an instructional video available on the <strong>edumedia YouTube channel<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Returning the borrowed practice book at the designated book return point before leaving the library.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Participate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Group Registration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students completed their group number, member names, and other required information on the worksheet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Participate in All Learning Stations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every group member was required to participate in all learning stations and complete the assigned activities, with their participation assessed and verified by the group mentor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Check-In and Confirm Participation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After completing all stations and submitting the worksheet, students returned to the original meeting point for attendance verification before proceeding to the next activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>\u201cLearning Journey to the Center for Library and Educational Media\u201d<\/strong> activity represents an important step in preparing new students to make effective use of the university\u2019s information resources and library services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More importantly, the program provides students with a <strong>fun, engaging, and welcoming learning experience from their very first days at Walailak
